The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is an updated adventure-touring motorcycle designed for long distances on all types of terrain Key updates for 2025 include an improved electronics suite better fuel efficiency and enhancements for passenger comfort The Rally is differentiated from other V4 Multistrada models by its focus on rugged off-road touring, with a larger fuel tank extended-travel suspension and tubeless spoked wheels
Several features have been updated across the 2025 Multistrada V4 lineup with the Rally benefiting from improvements in electronics efficiency and comfort.
- Electronics and safety: The Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) technology uses sensors to predict and adjust suspension movement.All V4 models with the radar system now include Forward Collision Warning (FCW)The semi-active Skyhook suspension (standard on the Rally) has been refined
- Engine and efficiency: To meet Euro 5+ emissions standards the 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine gets revised tuning and a new exhaust A key update is the extended rear-cylinder deactivation system which now works while the bike is in motion at low speeds or low throttle improving fuel economy and reducing heat
- Passenger comfort: The rear rack has been redesigned and the panniers and top box have been moved back slightly to provide more legroom for a pillion rider
- Suspension: The semi-active suspension can now automatically lower itself between 15 and 30mm when you come to a stop making it easier for shorter riders to manage the bike's height
Engine and performance
The heart of the Multistrada V4 Rally is Ducati's Granturismo engin, a lightweight and powerful V4 built for long-distance travel
Engine type: Granturismo 90° V4 with twin pulse firing order, liquid-cooled, DOHC, and four valves per cylinder, according to Top Speed.
Displacement: 1,158 cc, according to Top Speed.
Power: 170 hp (125 kW) at 10,500 rpm
Torque: 12.7 kgm (125 Nm, 92 lb-ft) at 8,750 rpm
Maintenance intervals: Thanks to a robust design, valve clearance checks are only required every 37,500 miles (60,000 km), and oil changes are needed every 9,375 miles (15,000 km) or two years.
Fuel tank: A large 30-litre fuel tank provides a significantly extended range compared to other Multistrada models
Wheels: The Rally is equipped with tubeless spoked wheels for enhanced off-road performance and durability
Suspension: Extended-travel Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO (DSS) provides a comfortable ride and is electronically adjustable to suit various conditions
Electronics: The standard Travel & Radar package includes Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection Other features include Ducati Quick Shift Vehicle Hold Control, and a 6.5-inch TFT display with a full-map navigation system
Comfort: Heated rider and passenger seats and heated grips are standard on the "Full" version of the Rally
